Greetings,
As January comes to a close, students are also wrapping up a variety of their current units of study. On Friday, students concluded our Empires unit in social studies; our Egypt will be introduced next week.
On Tuesday, students will take their first graded review on our Weeks 1-5 academic-specific vocabulary words. Also next week, students will receive their new novel, a lit circle book to assist with studies of our next unit: dystopia. Similar to fall literature circle groups, students will have weekly homework in their packet to complete in order to prepare for their group meetings on Thursdays or Fridays.
