Today we worked on finished up work with the fractions 1/2 and 1/4. Your child should be able to recognize a shape cut into these fractions as well as tell you that a fraction needs to have equal sized pieces. We discussed today’s special number, 10, and students began writing different ways to make 10 or different places they’ve seen the number before.
