January’s challenge was “Reduce Paper Use”. Here is a summary written by Kate:
“In January our green challenge was to use less paper. We met our goal by using our Chromebooks more often instead of paper. On the first week we used 321 pieces of paper. I know, right? But this week we used 201 pieces that’s more than 100 less pieces of paper than last week.”
Here is an interesting graphic (how much paper have humans used since January 1, 2016 you may ask…?)
February’s challenge is to “Reduce Electricity”; here is a summary written by Caden:
“I could save electricity at school by dimming my screen so it can conserve power and use less electricity. At home I could use less electronics so I could also reduce the electricity bill for my home.”
