It was exciting to wrap up our week with our Charley Harper gallery. We were so proud of the work the students accomplished, and we were happy they had an opportunity to share what they had done. We also enjoyed a PBIS celebration on Thursday to celebrate the awesome students we have at PCCS. Our class enjoyed a friendly game of nerf war against Ms. Stefans’ class.
In social studies, we continued our study of Egyptian civilization and broke up into groups to learn more in depth information on a variety of subjects – art, scribes, papyrus, the number system, and the Book of the Dead. We are also beginning a new book for our Literature Circles. Each student was given a choice of four novels – The Giver, Dark Life, Among the Hidden, and The City of Ember. Ask your student which book they selected! They should begin reading at home this week-end.
