Forms Galore

Greetings families,

First of all, thank you to everyone for helping make yesterday’s Taste of the World a massive success! I have been getting constant positive feedback from staff, parents and students alike. We could not have done it without your support. Take a look at my webpage for some photos from the event!

I know we have been sending a lot of emails lately; it is because we have so many exciting events happening at PCCS! In hopes of getting students as many positive opportunities as possible, I want to send out some additional reminders:

  • Earth Week is next week, so permission forms are due ASAP. A rough schedule of each day’s events will be coming to you via Sixth Grade Gazette on Friday.
  • Sometime in the next 2 weeks, we hope to have our annual prairie burn. Depending on the weather, this event could happen as soon as tomorrow. In order for your child to have the possibility of participating, please read the safety requirements and complete the digital permission form here. Only three students from our class currently have permission to help.
  • Thank you to all who joined us at the camping trip meeting last night. Please see yesterday’s email for digital copies of all required paperwork for the trip. I will share that our class has less than a third of the commitment forms returned and I am eager to learn who else will be joining me at Warren Dunes. We hope to have all commitment forms collected by this Friday (to finalize trip costs) so even if you child is not attending please return this commitment form (with the $50 deposit if attending), at your earliest convenience.
  • Lastly, if you child is attending the camping trip and you are interested in joining the fun, our class is in need of a couple of additional volunteer chaperones. Please complete the digital application here, if you are interested and available May 23-25. We will likely be selecting chaperones some time next week.
As always, thank you for your time. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Enjoy this beautiful day!
