Today we talked briefly about our Sun and each student made a book about the sun that they are going to share with you tonight. We talked about our Sun being a star. Tomorrow we will have a special treat as Mrs. Hershiser will be coming in to tell us star stories (constellation stories)!
In writing, the students wrote about one of our 2 options: how they keep their heart healthy or they gave advice to someone who wanted to become a doctor.
I gave out our new Words of the Week activities. For 1st graders, they will be reviewing the words we’ve worked on this trimester. 2nd graders have new words: written, favorite, care, since, picture, class, idea, myself.
