I want to write a quick note to let you all know that we had a class meeting this afternoon. During the meeting I told that class that I felt we have had an outstanding start to the year, and that in the past two days (Friday and Monday) I have noticed a change in their behavior, not just with me but with their specials teachers.
Students agreed that they have been “getting comfortable” and “challenging boundaries”. We discussed that moving forward we can all do more to ensure our class as a community is successful. If you have a chance, please follow up with your child regarding these same topics and feel free to let me know if they give you any additional insight at home.
