In hopes of ensuring all families are on the same page, I would like to provide an update on our current social studies project, Taste of the World. This is a class project that has students (individually or with a partner) choose a country to write a report about, design a poster educating an audience on and cook a specialized dish from that country to serve to the school community. Below you will find the guiding documents that were provided to students prior to break and after break:
Students’ written reports are due tomorrow on Google Classroom. Posters are due Monday and our Taste of the World event is Tuesday. There will be 4 afternoon sessions run, in case you are interested in attending. Session times are 12:20-12:50, 1:00-1:30, 1:40-2:10 and 2:20-2:50. Please bring a plate if you are interested in trying food.
