Wendy Leve-McClevey began working at PCCS in Spring 2013 as a substitute classroom IA. The following year she came back as a substitute teacher, and then happily accepted a position as a Special Education IA. Ms. Leve-McClevey shares that it didn’t take long to fall in love with the setting, the curriculum, and most of all the students at PCCS! Transitioning out of a 20 year career as a manufacturer’s representative in the Gift and Toy industry, Ms. Leve-McClevey graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Psychology. What you might not know about Ms. Leve-McClevey is that she has a background in theatre. More specifically, she is well-versed in improvisation and children’s theatre. She worked for and studied at The Second City in Chicago and was a member of their children’s theatre company. In her spare time, she loves to write, cook, and spend time with her two sons, whom with she shares a love of rock n’ roll, theatre and the Chicago Cubs!
