Nancy Reidy was first introduced to PCCS in 2007 when she and her husband enrolled their 3 sons because of the school’s great reputation and environmental philosophy. In 2010, she decided PCCS was a great place to use her special education background and became a part of the special education team. After earning a degree in economics from the University of Illinois and working in the banking industry, she decided to return to school to become a teacher. Mrs. Reidy earned a Masters of Special Education from DePaul University and taught special education within the Chicago Public Schools and the LaGrange School District.
Since joining the PCCS family, she has become an avid gardener and loves eating her home-grown veggies. One thing people might not know about her is that she comes from a large Croatian family and had a wonderful time visiting Croatia with her mother and 4 sisters a few years ago. Mrs. Reidy’s three boys and husband are the loves of her life, and they are what gets her out of bed each morning. Of course, she also loves coming to PCCS and seeing the beautiful, smiling faces of our students!
