Kaela’s joins the team as a SPED Instructional Assistant. Kaela graduated from Berea College in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. She was drawn to PCCS because of their mission to environmental sustainability and community which reminds her of her own college experience. Kaela had the opportunity to live in Kentucky’s only LEED-certified Residence Hall for two years this experience allowed her to find practical ways to apply sustainable solutions to how she lives.
Kaela recommends that everyone reads Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is jam-packed with action, adventure, and Greek Mythology. A fun fact is that she shares a birthday with the main character of the series. When not at school, she enjoys reading, going to the movie theater, and playing with her two cats.
