Kristi Slack has worked as a special education instructional assistant for 7 years. She loves working with struggling learners, especially in reading. She has been a reading tutor for more than 10 years. Mrs. Slack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising/Communications from Michigan State University and has worked as an advertising account executive for over 11 years. She earned her teaching credentials from the University of West Florida and holds an Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Some activities Mrs. Slack enjoys include watching her sons play sports, walking, gardening, traveling, reading, and crafting. She dreams of one day writing a children’s book.
