Ms. Newby joined the Prairie Crossing Charter School family in the Fall of 2022. She believes there is so much value in helping shape young minds and being apart of their educational journey. She also finds being able to incorporate nature and the environment is very exciting. Creating a fun, positive, trusting environment for children to learn in has always been very important to her. In all her years being with children she has helped them learn, but there is so much more that each child she has taught her. Ms. Newby has worked with children for over 12 years and feels very privileged to be able to continue her career here a PCCS.
Ms. Newby has 3 children of her own. They find joy in being very involved in their school extracurricular activities as well as sports outside of school. In her free time you can find Ms. Newby having a dance party and singing karaoke with her children as well as spending as much time as they can outdoors.
