Audrey Franzen graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a minor in Sociology. While in college, Audrey explored as much of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as possible and fell in love with the area. She thought it was an absolute dream living on Lake Superior during her time at university. Audrey is excited to be a part of the PCCS team and be able to integrate the environment with learning. Audrey loves to adventure and travel whenever she can.
Her favorite hobbies include backpacking, hiking, going to the beach and hanging out with her dog Stella. She is also an avid art lover and tries to use her creativity as much as possible. Audrey’s favorite quote is, “I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.” – Henry David Thoreau.
