Phyllis Bennett is a graduate of DePaul University, Teaching and Learning K-9th, Barat College, Humanities and Literature. She has taught in Lake County, Illinois for 17 years for Waukegan and Beach Park Public Schools. Phyllis is married and has two daughters. She has lived and worked in various parts of the world and continues to enjoy traveling with friends, family, and collaborating with colleagues both abroad and here at home. Phyllis is a gardner, singer, and community advocate. At her core, is the belief that cultural, social, and academic diversity make for building sustainable life-long partnerships.
