Jim Coonan started at PCCS in 2009 as IT Support Coordinator. Mr. Coonan’s daughters were students at PCCS and as a stay at home dad he was very involved in volunteering in their classrooms. The need for an IT person at PCCS was his opportunity to join the PCCS team. He has a Bachelor’s of Science Marketing/Finance Degree and many years of IT experience which started as a hobby, then led to a new career at the charter school.
Mr. Coonan has always had an interest in nature and animals which he feels he has passed on to his two daughters. He thinks it is incredible to be able to have his daughters educated at such a great school – let alone having a job there as well. One interesting thing people might not know about Mr. Coonan is that he speaks Japanese. The movie Jim would watch any time he had a chance would be The Godfather.
