Geoff Deigan

Position: Executive Director

Mr. Deigan is the longest standing Executive Director in PCCS’s history, operating in that capacity since 2013. His primary focus is on the sustainable growth of our Students, our Staff, and our Community. Since 2004, Geoff has played integral roles in the school – from its initial campus expansion in 2004, to serving as Chair of the Board of Directors from 2007 through 2011. Today, he serves to elevate the school’s mission, vision, and culture.

In 1997, Mr. Deigan founded WRD Environmental, an ecological consulting firm and as President and CEO continues to provide the firm’s ongoing vision. He is also Chair for the Institute for Environmental Education a for purpose group that promotes innovative approaches to environmental education in schools and communities.

He serves on multiple boards through out the region, including the Illinois Network of Charter Schools and the Green Schools National Network. He has presented on panels and lectures throughout the country promoting environmentally responsible design and education for sustainability. As a 20+ year resident of Lake County, Geoff is a Harley enthusiast and can often be seen traversing through the scenic routes of the roads less traveled with focus on what lies ahead more so than the rearview mirror.
