Becky has served diverse learners in public and therapeutic education settings for the past 20+ years. Her experiences in education have developed a passion for learning, innovation, inclusion, equity, and accessibility. She has professional educator endorsements as a Learning Behavior Specialist I, Administrator, and Director of Special Education. Becky earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and continued her studies at National Louis University to earn a M.Eds. in Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, and an Ed.S. in Administration & Supervision. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Special Education Leadership at Concordia University Chicago.
Becky is a strong student advocate and loves learning about students’ interests and passions. She believes that education needs to adapt to meet the unique needs of all students. Becky is a die-hard Chicago sports fan and enjoys live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
