Julia Duerig joined the PCCS family in March, 2023. She brings four years of experience working in education; including working one-on-one with a special needs student, kindergarten class assistant, a K-8 substitute, and a daycare teacher. She appreciates Prairie Crossing’s environmentally sustainable approach to education and lifetime skills.
Ms. Duerig earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Carthage College. She has a passion for working with children and helping them be their best. Ms. Duerig enjoys crafting, music, bowling, and spending time with family (including pets) and friends. She has a heart for animals, those without a voice and the underserved. She is an ardent volunteer for the Dear Jack Foundation and the AYA community, raising money & awareness to support their work.
