Mrs. Geoghan

Grade: Academic Intervention Teacher Position: Academic Intervention Teacher

Rebecca Geoghan joined PCCS in the Fall of 2019.  She was drawn to PCCS because of the everyday focus on the environment in the classroom.  She believes that everything we do impacts our environment and feels very strongly about doing all we can for the generations to come.  Mrs. Geoghan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught for a year in fourth grade and then stayed home to raise her family.

Mrs. Geoghan loves to be outdoors, anywhere near the water.  She loves boating, swimming, kayaking, running, and biking. She also loves to cook and play games with her family.  Her favorite quote is “Where all think alike, no one thinks very much.” Walter Lippmann. One interesting thing that people might not know about her is that she lived in Indonesia when she was 11.  Mrs. Geoghan loves all Dr. Suess and books in general. She could read all day.
