Hello all,
Congratulations to my homeroom class, we have earned our first puzzle party of the year! Students have voted to…have a PJ/Movie day.
As the trimester starts to wind down, students will be completing a couple of longer-term assignments to wrap up our units in ELA. Please click here to review the personal narrative writing assignment (due Nov 7th) and the character bag project (due Oct 31st). In social studies, students spent the week focused on language development, by building on their independent note-taking and then collaborating in their “bands” to design a primitive language & perform a skit using said language. Next up, students will be getting outside to collect supplies for our tool-making activity.
Please read this message from the Green Team:
- Join us at 5 pm for stargazing, constellation stories by the fire, and cocoa to warm up. More details about this program, including registration information, are in this FLYER.
- The Green Team’s Critter Trail will be available as a free, self-guided family activity on Saturday, November 3, in conjunction with the Fall Artisan Fair (in the PCCS gym). After you shop (or before), get a map and instructions from the Green Team and spend some time outside learning about the critters of Illinois!
