Jacqueline Heier enters the 2012-2013 PCCS school year as a 5th grade teacher! She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and middle school endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies. Since that time, she has continued her education at North Central College in Naperville. She has also worked for Kaplan Tutoring and taught students in South Africa while studying at Stellenbosch University.
Jacqueline has always loved working with middle school students and educating outdoors. After graduation, she looked for a school aligned with her educational and environmental values. Jacqueline found her home at PCCS during the 2010-2011 school year while working as the 7th grade TA. She instantly fell in love with the school’s constructivist approach and environmental ideals.
When not teaching, she loves being active outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. She is always seeking new experiences and loves learning new things!
Now Jacqueline is looking forward to all the new and thrilling experiences she gets to share with her family at PCCS.
