Ben grew up canoeing the waters of Canada and the Des Plaines River and these waters helped shape his view of the environment and the special role it plays in life. Before Ben came to Prairie Crossing Charter School, he spent his years as an environmental educator and an outdoor adventure camp director for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. Ben’s love of the outdoors and History makes Prairie Crossing Charter School a perfect fit.
Ben grew up in Lake Bluff and currently lives in the area with his wife, Kendall, two children, Myles and Ainsley, and their golden retriever Camper.
