Planned Gifts
A planned gift is when a donor makes arrangements now for a gift to Prairie Crossing Charter School later. There are many types of planned gifts that can provide varied and essential benefits to donors, including bequests, gifts of securities or life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts. Planned gifts ensure that Prairie Crossing Charter School will continue to work to develop the environmental stewards of tomorrow for generations to come!
The majority of planned gifts are arranged through estate planning vehicles, including wills, trust, and other deferred arrangements. Planned gifts can serve the dual purpose of providing future financial support to a nonprofit organization and offering income and estate tax benefits to the donor. Please discuss any gifts with your financial and/or legal advisor to ensure that you are fully informed and making the best possible decision as it relates to your personal financial situation.
Please contact Prairie Crossing Charter School's Director of Development, Sarah Eisner Kirch, at skirch [at] pccharterschool [dot] org or 847-543-9872 for more information on making a planned gift to PCCS, or to notify us if you have already made arrangements for a planned gift. If you are interested in learning more about different types of planned gifts, please read this newsletter created by our Development Department. Thank you!
