Mrs. Berger started teaching at PCCS in 2003 as the afternoon Kindergarten teacher at the top of the Wright School House. Mrs. Berger was drawn to PCCS because she liked the challenge to integrate the outdoors with regular curriculum for Kindergarten students. Creating new lessons combined with her experience as a traditional teacher was an exciting opportunity. She has a BA in Education.
Mrs. Berger has always been interested in all things nature and gardened alongside her dad for many years. She loves and is inspired by the awesomeness of animals and plants! One very interesting thing about Mrs. Berger is that she has 8 children. She feels that this helps her understand parents’ joys and concerns for their children. What she likes most about PCCS is having the opportunity to create an outdoor classroom for Kindergarten. Every year she is inspired to add something to increase the learning outdoors!
