Megan Marlette began working at PCCS in Spring 2015 as an instructional assistant. Prairie Crossing Charter School’s mission of sustaining the environment and incorporating the importance of the environment into the school curriculum excites her. She believes in small classroom sizes, allowing more individual attention for each student. Ms. Marlette has her Bachelor’s Degree in English, and continuing education for secondary education licensure. She currently teaches early childhood art classes in the evenings and thoroughly enjoys working with children of all ages in a natural learning environment. As an avid equestrian enthusiast, and mother, the environment is extremely important to her as we must sustain the environment for animals and the children for the future. Ms. Marlette enjoys all aspects of the outdoors, especially trail riding and hiking. She most enjoys the family atmosphere that PCCS offers. It truly provides students with a nurturing learning environment in which to thrive. Ms. Marlette shares that her parents are her role models, because they instilled values that she has carried on to her children, including respect, the power of kindness, and the importance of taking care of our Earth.
