Kathy Hipsher started working at PCCS in 2016. She decided to pursue a substitute teaching position at PCCS after she and her husband and relocated to Illinois. Mrs. Hipsher was formerly a Middle School English Teacher at parochial school in Texas and she was looking for that same intimate school environment, which led her to PCCS. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville, with a major in Language Arts for grades 4 through 8.She truly appreciates how the care of the environment is such an important emphasis for the faculty and students at PCCS. She enjoys seeing the gardens–the students and faculty are the caretakers! What a great learning experience for our students. Being able to be part of a learning environment that teaches our students the importance of enjoying nature and taking care of the environment is such a positive experience for Mrs. Hipsher. If she could have dinner with anyone in history, it would be Jacqueline Kennedy-she showed such grace and charisma during difficult times.
