Rebecca Moyer started at PCCS in 2013 as she loved being able to learn outside and be involved in a small school community. She holds a degree in French Studies from the University of Illinois.
Ms. Moyer enjoys being outside: cycling, hiking, swimming, and gardening. Being a part of school that teaches outside gives her a great opportunity to share her love of nature with the students. She especially enjoys gardening with her class in their classroom garden and in the sustainable schoolyard. Few people know that she has been playing the violin since she was 6 years old. The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster was her favorite childhood book. It is filled with adventure and discovery. Ms. Moyer thoroughly enjoyed how Milo, the main character, grew from his experiences and learned to appreciate life more.
