Mrs. Gernady

Position: School Psychologist/Intervention Coordinator

Anne Gernady excitedly started at PCCS in 2012 with a desire to help children achieve their best academically, socially, and emotionally. She is passionate about environmental issues and is honored to help support the mission of this school. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and both her Master’s in Educational Psychology and Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Indiana University. Prior to coming to PCCS, she completed an internship in Winnetka Public Schools and then worked for five years in Lake Villa District 41.

Mrs. Gernady tries to be mindful of the environment in all aspects of her life. She believes that making small changes can add up, and that we all have a duty to be responsible consumers. She loves PCCS because the teachers are clearly passionate about what they do, and because of that, the students thrive. What gets her out of bed every morning is a desire to help and to bring her best to each day.
