Dilrukshi Dybas joined our team because she wanted to work with children in a school setting and immediately loved the small community feel the school has. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lake Forest College, she worked at a private not-for-profit agency, working with abused and neglected children and their families. Mrs. Dybas has several years of experience working with children of all ages, with varied developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Mrs. Dybas feels that we all have a duty to not only preserve, but improve our environment for future generations. Teaching children from a young age to respect their surroundings and encourage others to do the same can only benefit us and those who come after us. Mrs. Dybas recommends the book “To Kill a Mockingbird” because of the message of doing the right thing, even when it’s not the popular thing; accepting others; and being true to yourself and your values. If she could be any superhero, Mrs. Dybas would want to be Wonder Woman–the combination of a great superhero costume and someone who knows how to accessorize–can’t be beat!
