Lunch Programs

Pizza Friday

Over the past several years, we have offered a fee-based pizza program to students each Friday during the school year. We have used many different pizza vendors during that time; last year, we contracted with Organic Life LLC to purchase pizza, fruits and vegetables for our lunch program.

We encountered a few challenges with this program, most notably staffing this labor intensive position. In addition, we feel it is important, in embracing our mission and vision, that our lunch program also reflect our wellness plan. We want to be able to provide you, our students and parents, with nutritional and allergen information on any lunch program we may offer. Given the insufficient nutritional information available to us, we are unable to do so at this time, and so have made the decision to put our Friday lunch program on hold as we examine our options.

We acknowledge that the Pizza Friday program is a valued program for both parents and students, and we will continue to explore the viability of other programs for our school. We will keep you apprised as potential opportunities for a new lunch program are identified.
