Our 3rd/4th graders participated in the Bluestem Award program again this year and submitted their votes to the Illinois School Library Media Association. 64 of our 3rd/4th graders read at least four of the books, making them eligible to vote on PCCS’ pick. Books that received votes included:

The 13-Story Treehouse
Dorko the Magnificent
Stay: The True Story of 10 Dogs
Alex the Parrot
Little Dog, Lost

It was great to see everyone so excited to vote for their favorite books. The final vote tally resulted in a win for Matilda!
